Blue Rayed Limpets

We go beach combing a lot and I found these blue striped shells. We looked them up on the internet and I did a presentation on them.

I turns out that the topic at school is fishing and the kids are doing fish but Blue ray limpets are marine animals and if everyone does fish thats boring.

I intend to use my presentation on Blue Ray Limpets as they are so pretty and unusual and anyway I am going vegetarian and not really interested in eating fish which is all they keep talking about and I dont see why I have to take fish products into school when I dont approve of the way that fish are being exploited and killed by their thousands and most of it ends up in the bin. Why do humans have to kill everything and eat it! All the packaging also causes so much landfill.

I am interested in bio diversity and am thinking of becoming a marine biologist when I grow up. I am so interested in anemones and all the things in the sea and my mom bought me some awesome books on Scottish marine life.
