Maths: Polygons

Polygons are closed figures that have 3 or more straight sides.

Interior angles of regular polygons (Equilateral and equiangular) are:

3 - Triangle = 60 degrees (Total of 180 degrees)
4 - Quadrilateral = 90 degrees (Total of 360 degrees)
5 - Pentagon = 108 degrees (Total of 540 degrees)
6 - Hexagon 120 degrees (total of 720 degrees)

*The internal shape of a beehive consists of many hexagon shapes.
