Science: Variation and Classification

Then its either a plant or an animal!
Scientists divide different plants and animals into smaller groups to identify the. They look for differences and similarities to the help decide on which groups to put them in.
ANIMAL groups = Vertebrates (backbone) vs. Invertebrates (no backbone)
Vertebrates = Fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals
Invertarates = insects, arachnids, molluscs

Flowering = frasses, cereals, garden shrubs, deciduous trees
