Fish Product Packaging for School
I wanted to do a product that uses the Scottish Marine Life theme, but make it a vegetarian product BUT my teacher refused this :'(
Anyway, my choice of this product I have designed would be vegetarian and not using actual fish products. I think that schools should accommodate vegetarian pupils and take them in to consideration! We have had so many dead fish being brought in to class where some of the kids have told us how they killed the fish by smacking it against a pole and its eye had popped out. This lay in the class for a few days after that and it stunk so bad, I have totally gone off fish :( Its cruelty to animals to deliberately kill a fish to bring it into class so it can go rotten. It would even be different if it was preserved and kept as a specimen in a bottle in alcohol for future learning or brought in in a bucket and set free.
It would be so wonderful if we could have a marine tank in the school, we do live at the sea after all!!! If there was some fund raising we could have a marine tank and study live animals!
All the Scottish Marine Life is so beautiful that I would rather study live specimens or actually go to the beach. as we live right at the sea, in a class visit and see what we see. There is even a fish factory nearby where they prepare fish for sale to the public and catering industry but where is the effort on the teachers side to do anything for this topic. In my little sisters class one of the kids, whose dad is a fisherman, brought in an octopus in a bucket and they set it free afterwards. Thats much better.
We are still trying to arrange for me to be home schooled again but in the meantime I am at school on some days. I feel sick still and all the noise of the phone ringing in the class, the loud school bell the teachers loud voice and the kids making a noise is very horrible for my migraines. My medication is making me very drowsy and my teacher is being very unfair to me.
