Arts and Crafts

There is a market day on in our village this Saturday.  There is an egg competition which I might enter and I am making some of my jewellery for my stall.  I made quite a few tonight until I got way tired so I will work a bit each night this week to build up some stock.

I was using this cool hobby tool we have and a wireless drill with a small drill bit.  I was drilling holes in these shells to make necklaces.  I thread them onto leather thong and then add some knots and beads and I think they look good.  Sometimes its difficult to sell the stuff ones makes as you get attached to it ;)

Time seems to be in short supply because I do a lot of subjects and also arts and crafts, fiddle, guitar, dancing, brownies, horse riding, swimming and I am soooooo busy.  We also have friends dropping around all afternoon from about 12 midday.  The wee ones start first when they finish preschool and they come to say hello and then after my little sister comes home from school there are kids in and out and its gets quite disruptive with all the interruptions.  We keep telling them we are busy with homeschool but they cant get the concept.  Sometimes its really bad and frustrating.  Visitors are nice but only when they are invited.

I was getting a new pink guitar but it got damaged in the post and we got a refund.  I am really sad as the sellers dont have another pink guitar.  For now I am using my electic guitar for lessons but the strings are a bit harsh on my fingers and the sound is not good unless its plugged in.  Guitar lessons are going well and I am going up to the more advanced group next lesson.  That is cool :)

My wee sis has decided she is not going to guitar anymore for now and wants me to teach her.  She feels that she is too much of a beginner to manage in a group.  Private lessons are good when you are a beginnner.
